Silo cover with gastight inner membrane
A silo roof with lung, also called gas-tight inner membrane, is suitable for (bio)gas storage. This Flexxocover consists of two membranes. The inner membrane provides the gas-tight seal and thus determines the variable gas volume. The outer membrane serves to keep the actual gas storage volume free from weather influences such as UV radiation, rain, snow and wind load. The Flexxocover silo cover with gas-tight inner membrane is designed to ensure maximum service life and therefore optimal payback time for our customers under all conditions. We make this possible by choosing the best materials, by using tested components and by certified production and assembly. In addition to this version, the Flexxocover is also available in standard version and in gas-tight version with a single membrane.

- The Flexxocover with lung has been successfully designed on hundreds of tanks and placed without defects in diameters between ø12 and ø40 meters. This broad experience ensures that we realise the best silo roof for you.

- All our metal parts that might get in contact with gas are always made of stainless steel-316 because of the minimum sensitivity to corrosion (rust).
- We manage the entire process from design and production to assembly (under KIWA K73883 and ISO-9001). This allows us to deliver maximum quality to you.
- For each silo roof you will receive an extensive report in which all strength calculations, conditions and the resulting force on the silo wall are described. By checking this with the silo builder, we can prevent unforeseen problems, so that a maximum lifespan can be achieved.
- The foil that is used in our products is extremely stable in shape, it has a breaking strength of 8000 kg per linear metre produced by a West European supplier.
- Our foil suppliers give a five year guarantee on the material and we give a five year guarantee on the design and processing.

- Delivery includes centre column, strapping system and inspection opening.
- Standard foil: polyester fabric with 2-sided PVC; 4,000 N/5 cm (900 g/m²). Stronger foils possible if desired or needed.
- Centre columns minimum FSC tropical hardwood type D60. Stainless steel-316 columns available on request.
- The designs of our covers are approved in all European countries.
- The entire construction is designed to be used in all snow and wind zones in Europe, even at larger diameters.
- Also available as a silo roof gastight with a single membrane and a gas-open execution.
