Uncoated Big Bags are the right and most economical solution if you are looking for a Big Bag for among others granulate, sand, gravel, stones or wood. Flexxolutions produces various sizes and versions, most of which are delivered from stock. Feel free to contact us for other sizes and/or versions!

Coated Big Bags are suitable for storing products with a fine composition, such as sugar, salt, starch, spices, powders etc. For products that should not get moist, we recommend Big Bags with an inner bag (Liner). Please feel free to contact us for other sizes and/or versions, as custom-made products and smaller series are also possible!

Liner Big Bags are fitted with a liquid-tight polythene inner bag, also called Liner or Inliner. The Big Bags with an inner bag are particularly widely used for products that should not get moist, such as coffee beans, food additives, milk powder, etc. They are also available in various sizes and designs.

Mouldable Big Bags are also called Q-bags or Stabilon Big Bags, as they stand like a house after proper filling. These Big Bags can also be stacked on top of each other. The biggest advantage is that these Big Bags are suitable for products that need to be transported over longer distances. With a rigid Big Bag, the available loading space in the truck and in the shipping container can be used optimally.

UN- and ADR-certified big bags

UN and ADR Big Bags are tested and certified for a particular packaging group, and based on the hazardous substance. These Big Bags are certified for the storage and transport of various hazardous substances. For most of the hazardous substances that may be transported in Big Bags, a dust-tight big bag or a big bag with an inner bag (plastic bag – liner) is mandatory.

The four types of UN-certified big bag models are:

13H1 – FIBCs produced from uncoated polypropylene.
13H2 – FIBCs produced from coated polypropylene.
13H3 – FIBCs produced from uncoated polypropylene with a (plastic bag) liner.
13H4 – FIBCs produced from coated polypropylene with a (plastic bag) liner.
To determine which Big Bag is required for the hazardous substance to be packed, it is important that we have the correct 13H. class or (if known) the UN substance identification number. Based on the designation or UN number, we will be happy to advise you!
